Now into its 5th generation of family ownership, Emil Bauer & Söhne have been headed up by brothers Alex & Martin Bauer since 2011. Wanting to breathe some new life into the family business, they have set out on a radical path to show German wine in a new, irreverent light. Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll Riesling 2023 is a dry Riesling with a crisp acidity and an expressive nose of peach and lychee. The palate is bright and fresh, with good acidity backed up with flavours of citrus zest, chalk and crunchy green apples. Very much in the new fashion of Emil Bauer & Söhne, this Riesling is classic in flavour but modern in style.
